EP-SH-N ionizing bar for working distances up to 150 mm
The Simco-ION EP-SH-N is a conventional 7 kV AC ionizing bar for static elimination at working distances up to 150 mm. Its open construction and available lengths make it suitable for neutralizing static electricity on film, paper and other web materials.
The bar requires an external A2A7S or MPM high-voltage power unit. It is particularly relevant when replacing or expanding an existing 7 kV system or when several AC bars are powered by the same unit.
When should you choose EP-SH-N?
Choose EP-SH-N when the 30 mm range of MEB or MEJ is insufficient, but the 600 mm range of P-SH-N is not required.
For new installations where 24 V DC, an integrated high-voltage supply and monitoring are priorities, Performax IQ Easy or EasION IQ will often be the first solutions we assess.
Each emitter is capacitively coupled to the high voltage, making the emitters shockless and touch-safe. The bar can continue operating if individual emitters become short-circuited due to heavy contamination.
