Compact MEB ionizing bar for short working distances
MEB from Simco-ION is a compact rectangular 7 kV AC ionizing bar for static elimination at working distances up to 30 mm. It is typically installed where the material passes close to the bar and moving machine parts do not interfere with ionization.
The capacitively coupled emitters are shockless and touch-safe. The bar can continue operating if individual emitters become short-circuited because of contamination.
When should you choose MEB?
MEB is particularly relevant when replacing or extending an existing 7 kV system and on machines using several AC ionizing bars. A compatible MPM power unit can supply up to four ionizing devices.
Choose MEB when a rectangular profile is best suited to the installation. MEJ provides similar performance but has a round profile that can be mounted through holes in a machine frame.
For a new 24 V DC installation, VicinION IQ will often be assessed as a modern alternative for short working distances.
