P-SH-N-EX for static elimination in ATEX areas
P-SH-N-EX from Simco-ION is an AC ionizing bar with an integrated high-voltage power supply for static elimination in certain explosion-hazardous environments. Its integrated supply removes the need for a separate high-voltage cable in the EX area.
The bar is connected to 230 V AC through a five-metre primary cable and can neutralize static charges at working distances up to 200 mm under suitable conditions.
When should you choose P-SH-N-EX?
P-SH-N-EX is particularly relevant for replacing existing equipment or when an integrated 230 V AC solution suits the machine installation.
For new installations, Performax Easy EX and Performax IQ Easy EX should also be assessed. They operate from 24 V DC, offer IP66 protection and require no high-voltage cable in the EX area. Choose the IQ version when central monitoring through the IQ Easy Platform is required.
P-SH-N-EX is only approved for specified hazardous environments. The relevant ATEX classification and installation requirements must always be verified.
