Vortec Spray Nozzles are compressed-air spray nozzles designed for evaporative cooling, atomization, humidification, wetting and dust control. Also described as air atomizing nozzles or two-fluid nozzles, they use a high-velocity air stream to break liquid into controlled micron-sized droplets.
The products are suitable for applications involving plastics, packaging, paper, wood, rubber, metal, coatings, lubricants, preservatives and other industrial processes requiring controlled liquid coverage.
Air and liquid are mixed externally, helping to minimise clogging. No electrical connection is required at the nozzle, and the products can operate with a low-pressure liquid supply of 0.1–1.4 bar.
The adjustable liquid flow allows water, coatings, lubricants and other process liquids to be applied according to the application.

The 1700-BSP Experimental Kit supports all three applications and is suitable for process trials, development and selection of the appropriate compressed air spray nozzle.
The models use 340 SLPM of compressed air and feature BSP connections for European installations.
