Round MEJ ionizing bar for machine-frame installation

MEJ from Simco-ION is a round 7 kV AC ionizing bar for static elimination at working distances up to 30 mm. It has the same basic properties as MEB, but its round profile allows installation through holes in a machine frame.

MEJ is therefore suitable for compact machines and existing installations where a conventional rectangular bar is difficult to mount.

When should you choose MEJ?

Choose MEJ when the working distance is short and its round construction provides an installation advantage. Select MEB instead if a rectangular profile is easier to mount.

MEJ requires an external A2A7S or MPM high-voltage power unit and is particularly relevant for replacing or extending an existing 7 kV AC system. For new 24 V DC installations, VicinION IQ should be assessed as a compact modern alternative.

The capacitively coupled emitters are shockless and touch-safe. The bar continues operating if individual emitters are short-circuited by contamination.
