Each individual emitter point on the anti-static bar is connected to the high voltage. Therefore, you will not get shocked when the emitters are accidentally touched. Another advantage is that the anti-static bar continues to function correctly if one or more emitter points are short-circuited, for example, due to dirt, etc.
This type of antistatic bar can be cost-effective if you have more than 3 antistatic bars on a machine. With the 7kv system, a Power Supply is required. This unit has a total of 4 outputs, and therefore, 4 antistatic bars from the 7kv system can be connected to this power unit.
