Performax IQ Easy EX ionising air knife for EX applications

The Performax IQ Easy EX ionising air knife combines an ATEX ionising bar with an Air Knife. It is relevant when static charge and loose particles must be addressed in a process requiring equipment suitable for hazardous areas.

The bar neutralises static charge while the directed airflow helps remove loose particles from the surface.

The complete installation determines suitability

Performax IQ Easy EX operates on 24 V DC and has an integrated high-voltage supply. The combination must be selected according to the area classification, temperature, materials and specific installation requirements.

Standard and Speed versions must not be treated as identical. The selected version, positioning and optional IQ control must match the process and its applicable documentation.

Compressed air or a blower?

This solution is relevant for compressed-air blow-off cleaning. Where a blower-driven configuration is required, consider the Typhoon P-SH-N-EX ionising air knife.

Airflow, working width and cleaning distance are sized for the component. The general Air Knife manual alone does not establish the suitability of this complete combination for an EX installation.
