Anti-Static Bar and Air Knife: Effective Static Neutralization
The Performax IQ Easy anti-static bar, when combined with an static air knife, also referred to as an ion knife, delivers a powerful solution. The compressed air flows over the high-voltage points along the entire width of the anti-static bar and is amplified by the surrounding air. The result is an airflow that contains both positive and negative ions, which are generated by the anti-static bar itself.
This ionized airflow performs two critical tasks at once
1) It neutralizes the static charges that can accumulate on the surface of materials.
2) Removes contamination through the ionized airflow as well as particles and dust from surfaces.
The static knife combined with Performax IQ Easy anti-static bars is available as standard in 4 lengths: 150, 310, 460, and 610 mm.
