Efficient Neutralization and Cleaning with Ionized Air
The Typhoon air knife neutralizes static electricity and removes dirt from flat and curved surfaces using powerful ionized air. This airflow is generated by a powerful blower (optional) and an air knife. The air knife comes standard with an EP-Sh-N type ion bar (with power supply) or Performax IQ Easy (24V, optionally with Manager).
The Typhoon air knife is constructed of extruded aluminum with built-in mounting grooves. This design ensures a precise airflow across the entire width. In the Typhoon, a high air pressure is generated, flowing out of the narrow outlet opening. The ion bar produces positive and negative ions, which are blown onto the surface of the Typhoon. The ions will now be exchanged, causing the surface to neutralize and the impurities to be removed. For use in hazardous zones, Typhoon with the P-Sh-N-EX ion bar is approved.
Air pressure sensor
Each Typhoon system comes with an air pressure sensor capable of measuring the air pressure inside the air knife. If the pressure drops below the required level, the system may not function optimally. System control is necessary; often, the air filter needs to be cleaned.
Power unit A2A7M
Typhoon systems with EP-Sh-N ion bars include a power unit of type A2A7M. This unit contains an additional 12V power source for connecting the air pressure sensor.
