External control kit for Simco-ION equipment
An external control kit for Simco-ION equipment allows adjustment and status indication to be positioned at an accessible point on the machine. It is relevant when the main device is installed inside the machine or is not controlled directly by a PLC.
The control solutions are product-specific. They have different functions, signals and physical designs and must not be treated as one universal control unit.
Different control solutions for different products
- A separate control unit is available for Perfomaster PM2010 and PM2024. Its dial adjusts the output voltage, while an LED displays detected pulses. The pulse signal can also be passed to the machine PLC.
- Panel kits with a potentiometer and LED are available for CMM (IQ) Easy and CM Tiny to provide manual setpoint adjustment.
- A dedicated MPM version provides external ion-balance adjustment.
Depending on the version, the solution is supplied as either a panel-mounted kit or a separate enclosed control unit.
The current External Control Unit Perfomaster is intended exclusively for Perfomaster. It uses a 21–27 V DC supply, is intended for indoor industrial use and must not be used in a fire or explosion-hazardous environment.
Check the product and version
Before ordering, identify the exact main product, voltage version and connections. A Perfomaster control unit cannot be used as a control kit for CMM Easy, CM Tiny or MPM.
