MultiPowerMaster (MPM) – High voltage Power Supply for Simco-ION AC Systems

The MultiPowerMaster (MPM) from Simco-ION is an advanced high voltage power supply designed for manufacturers that need more than a traditional Power Unit. In addition to supplying high voltage to antistatic equipment, MPM offers PLC integration, remote control capabilities and system monitoring. MPM is commonly used in automated production lines within the plastics, packaging, paper, printing and converting industries, where process reliability and operational control are critical.
More than a traditional Power Unit
MPM features an electronically stabilized high voltage output, ensuring consistent performance of connected antistatic devices. The unit accepts input voltages from 100–240V AC at both 50 and 60 Hz, making it ideal for international machine builders, OEMs and production facilities operating across multiple markets.
Depending on the application, MPM is available with factory-configured output voltages of:
- 3.3 kV
- 4.0 kV
- 5.0 kV
- 7.0 kV
Integrated LED indicators provide a clear overview of operating status and high voltage output.
When should you choose MPM?
MPM is often the preferred choice when:
- Antistatic systems need PLC integration
- Remote monitoring or remote control is required

For simpler installations, A-Unit is often sufficient, while MPM is selected when additional control and integration capabilities are needed.
PLC integration and I/O functions
MPM can be equipped with an optional I/O interface that allows integration with PLC systems and other industrial control equipment.
Depending on the configuration, the system can support:
- Remote ON/OFF control
- High voltage indication
- Overload indication
- External status monitoring
- Remote operation via external signals
The I/O module also includes a 24V output for use with the Simco-ION Typhoon air pressure sensor.
Advanced options
MPM is available with several advanced options depending on the application:
B – Ion Balance Control
For applications where ion balance monitoring is important.
H – High Voltage Control
Provides additional monitoring of the high voltage output.
M – Master/Slave Function
Allows two MPM units to be connected for bi-phase ionization in high-speed applications.
O – Overload Detection
Monitors overload conditions via the I/O interface.
R – Remote Control
Enables remote operation of the power supply.
