24 V power supply for Simco-ION equipment
A 24 V power supply for Simco-ION equipment is used when the machine does not already provide the required 24 V DC supply. It converts 100–240 V AC at 50–60 Hz into 24 V DC for compatible ionising bars, generators and other Simco-ION devices.
Desktop or DIN rail installation
The desktop model is a simple solution for a single compatible device and does not require installation inside a control panel. DIN rail versions are intended for machine panels or enclosures and are available with different output currents.
A DIN rail power supply can operate several devices when its capacity, connectors and wiring are suitable for the installation. There is no fixed device quantity that applies to every product. The load depends on the device type, bar length and number of connected units.
Selecting the correct power supply
The power supply must be selected for the exact Simco-ION product. Examples include Performax IQ Easy, EasION IQ 4X, VicinION IQ and ThunderION IQ 2.0.
Always check the device’s power consumption, connector and required cables. When several devices are connected, their combined consumption must remain within the documented capacity of the power supply.
