Mounting brackets for Simco-ION ionising bars
Mounting brackets for Simco-ION ionising bars provide stable attachment inside the machine. They allow the bar to be positioned according to the working distance and direction specified for the particular product and process.
The universal brackets support three mounting methods:
- Basic mounting: For installations with very limited space. This method has no quick disconnect.
- Quick disconnect: Allows the ionising bar to be released for cleaning, servicing or replacement.
- Backwards-compatible quick disconnect: Intended for replacing older Performax Easy and ThunderION brackets.
The term “universal” means that the mounting system can be used with several Simco-ION products. It does not mean that every bracket fits every bar profile or product generation.
Selecting and positioning the brackets
The bracket version must suit the particular ionising bar, such as Performax IQ Easy, EasION IQ 4X, VicinION IQ or ThunderION IQ 2.0.
The permitted working distance and installation position must be taken from the documentation for the ionising bar. Several bars are already supplied with standard brackets, so separate brackets are particularly relevant for replacements, retrofits or alternative mounting methods.
