VicinION IQ ionising air knife for compact installations

The VicinION IQ ionising air knife combines a compact bar with a compressed-air Air Knife. It is relevant where installation space is limited and treatment must take place close to the material.

Ionisation reduces the electrostatic attraction holding loose particles in place. The airflow helps transport ions to the surface and blow the particles away.

Consider installation space and airflow together

The VicinION IQ bar is designed for short working distances. Adding an air knife requires assessment of the space, airflow direction and cleaning distance for the complete combination.

For thin film or lightweight components, airflow is adjusted to avoid unnecessary material movement. Material support and the collection of released dust are therefore part of the assessment.

At greater distances or where more space is available, the EasION IQ ionising air knife or Performax IQ Easy ionising air knife may be more relevant.

Connection and operation

The bar uses 24 V DC through an M8 connector and incorporates a high-voltage supply and status LED. Connection to IQ control requires a compatible system configuration and the correct cable.
