ThunderION IQ 2.0 for Long-Range Static Elimination
Simco ThunderION is a highly effective ionizing bar (also referred to as a static eliminator bar, anti-static bar, or ionizer bar) designed for static electricity elimination over long distances. While traditional ionizing bars often need to be positioned close to the material, ThunderION can effectively neutralize static charges at distances of up to 1000 mm – without the need for compressed air.
This makes ThunderION particularly suitable for high-speed production lines, large roll diameters, and applications where the distance between the bar and the material changes during production. Typical applications include unwinding and rewinding of film, plastic webs, paper, packaging materials, and other continuous web processes where static electricity can cause dust attraction, product defects, and production downtime.

Easy Maintenance and Effective Performance up to 1 Meter Away
ThunderION features an integrated high-voltage power supply and requires only a 24V DC input voltage. Multi-color LED indicators clearly display operating status and fault conditions, allowing operators to respond quickly when needed.
The disc-shaped emitters are designed to be shockless in the event of accidental contact and are built to withstand harsh industrial environments. They generate a high and balanced ion output, ensuring effective neutralization of static charges over long distances. The flexible and replaceable emitter design also helps reduce the risk of damage caused by accidental contact.
Maintenance is simple. End plates, center supports, and emitters can be removed quickly, providing easy access for cleaning the entire ionizing bar and helping maximize production uptime.
