A-Unit – Power Unit for Simco-ION AC systems

A-Unit is Simco-ION’s classic Power Unit for AC-based ionization systems. The unit converts standard mains voltage into the high voltage required by ionizing bars, ionizing nozzles and other AC antistatic equipment to eliminate static electricity.

The power supply is used in a wide range of applications within the plastics, packaging, paper, printing and converting industries, where static charges can lead to dust attraction, product quality issues and unstable production processes.

Simple and reliable solution

A-Unit is designed for easy installation and dependable operation. The unit features an ON/OFF switch, status indicator light and an integrated high-voltage indicator, making it easy to verify that the system is operating correctly.

If a fault occurs in the connected equipment, the high-voltage indicator will switch off, allowing potential issues to be identified quickly. Depending on the model, A-Unit can power up to four ionizing bars or other antistatic devices from a single power supply.
