The Vortec Vortex A/C Cabinet Air Conditioner System 7725-BSP is a compressed air–powered cabinet air conditioner designed for enclosure cooling of electrical and electronic cabinets in industrial environments requiring NEMA 4/4X protection.
This complete vortex air conditioner system combines efficient cooling performance with integrated temperature control and is particularly well suited for environments exposed to moisture, dust, or washdown conditions. The Vortex A/C technology delivers reliable cooling with reduced noise levels, lower energy consumption, and fast installation—without compressors or refrigerants.
Application and Function
The Vortex A/C 7725-BSP uses compressed air to remove heat from the enclosure while maintaining slight positive pressure inside the cabinet. This prevents the ingress of dust and humid air, protecting sensitive electronics from contamination and overheating. The integrated mechanical thermostat activates cooling only when needed, reducing compressed air consumption and operational costs.
With a cooling capacity of 440 Watts, this model is well suited for medium-sized electrical cabinets with moderate heat load. Its sound level of 66 dBA makes it a quieter alternative to traditional vortex coolers.
