Vortec Vortex A/C 7615-BSP Full System
The Vortec Vortex A/C 7615-BSP Full System is a compact cabinet air conditioner for smaller industrial electrical enclosures with heat loads up to 264 W. It uses filtered compressed air and vortex technology to remove heat from sensitive electronics without a compressor or refrigerant.
The 7615-BSP is rated NEMA 12 for suitable indoor industrial environments where dust, dirt and heat may affect component reliability and service life. The system maintains slight positive pressure inside the enclosure, helping to prevent contaminated and warm ambient air from entering.
Automatic cooling with a mechanical thermostat
The mechanical thermostat activates cooling only when the enclosure temperature exceeds the selected level. This provides demand-controlled operation and reduces compressed-air consumption compared with continuous cooling. At 6.9 bar, the model consumes 425 SLPM and provides 900 BTU/hr, equivalent to 264 W of cooling. Its sound level is 60 dBA.
The model is suitable for smaller control cabinets, PLC installations, variable frequency drives, servo controls and other electronics with low to moderate heat generation. Its compact design can be mounted on the top, side or front of an enclosure.

The 7615-BSP package contains:
- 7115-B-BSP Vortex A/C unit for NEMA 12 with BSP connections
- Vortex A/C Cold End Muffler Kit
- Cold Air Ducting Kit for internal cold-air distribution
- 703S-24A Auto Drain Filter with 3/8-inch BSP connection
A compressed-air connection is required. The air supply must be clean and dry to support reliable operation and long service life. With no moving parts in the pneumatic cooling core, maintenance requirements are minimal.
