Vortec Atomizing Spray Nozzle – 1713-BSP
Vortec 1713-BSP is a compressed-air atomizing spray nozzle for directed liquid atomization. It produces droplets from 60–200 µm and handles liquids with viscosities up to 1,100 cP.
The tight spray pattern is suitable for controlled application of coatings, lubricants, preservatives and rust inhibitors. Liquid flow is adjustable from 23–114 L/h.
Application and function of Vortec 1713-BSP
Liquid mixes externally with compressed air and is divided into controlled droplets. External mixing helps minimise clogging and allows the nozzle to work with liquids of different viscosities.
The integrated needle adjustment controls liquid flow. Air consumption is 340 SLPM, and the required liquid pressure is 0.1–1.4 bar.
An air filter and liquid strainer are not included.
