Vortec Air Nozzle 1206-BSP-PKG5 – flexible air nozzle with high thrust
Vortec 1206-BSP-PKG5 is a pack of five flexible Air Nozzles for industrial applications requiring high thrust and accurate positioning. The model provides a fixed thrust of 794 g and is the most powerful of the three flexible BSP models in Northern Grafics’ Selector.
The 305 mm flexible rubber hose can be bent and positioned to suit the application and holds its position under full line pressure. This makes the model suitable for more demanding blow-off tasks where chips, dust, moisture or other residue must be removed efficiently from components, machinery or process areas.
Application and function
Vortec 1206-BSP-PKG5 uses compressed air and Vortec’s air-amplification technology to entrain surrounding air. The 25× air amplification creates a concentrated airflow for blow-off, cooling and drying.
At 6.9 bar, the model consumes 877 SLPM. The air stream measures 6 mm at the nozzle and expands to approximately 82 mm at a distance of 305 mm.
The higher thrust requires more compressed air than the 1201F-12 and 1204 models. The 1206 should therefore be selected when the application genuinely requires the additional force, while one of the smaller models may be more economical for lighter tasks.
