Vortec Air Nozzle 1201F-12-BSP-PKG5 – flexible air nozzle with low thrust
Vortec 1201F-12-BSP-PKG5 is a pack of five flexible Air Nozzles for targeted blow-off, cooling and drying. Each compressed air nozzle is 305 mm long and can be positioned so that the airflow reaches the required area.
The flexible rubber hose holds its position under full line pressure. This makes the model suitable for applications where the target location changes frequently or where the nozzle must be repositioned without modifying the rest of the installation.
The model provides a fixed thrust of 170 g and consumes 255 SLPM at 6.9 bar. The air stream measures 5 mm at the nozzle and expands to approximately 82 mm at a distance of 305 mm. This provides a focused air stream with low thrust for smaller components and processes where a more powerful model is unnecessary.
Application and function
Vortec 1201F-12-BSP-PKG5 uses compressed air and Vortec’s air-amplification technology to entrain surrounding air. The model provides 25× air amplification, increasing the total airflow without requiring a corresponding increase in compressed air consumption.
The pin-point air stream is directed towards the component or process area by bending the flexible hose. The BSP version is designed for connection to BSP-based compressed air installations.
