Vortec Air Nozzle 1204-BSP-PKG5 – flexible air nozzle for precise blow-off
Vortec 1204-BSP-PKG5 is a pack of five flexible Air Nozzles for industrial blow-off, cooling and drying. The model provides a fixed thrust of 255 g and is suitable when more force is required than the 1201F-12 model provides, but the high thrust of the 1206 model is unnecessary.
The flexible rubber hose can be bent and positioned to suit the application and holds its position under full line pressure. This makes the compressed air nozzle suitable for production lines, machinery and tools where the target position may change or be difficult to reach.
Application and function
Vortec 1204-BSP-PKG5 uses compressed air and Vortec’s air-amplification technology to entrain surrounding air. With 25× air amplification, the nozzle generates an effective airflow for removing chips, dust and moisture as well as for local cooling and drying.
At 6.9 bar, the model consumes 368 SLPM. The air stream measures 6 mm at the nozzle and expands to approximately 82 mm at a distance of 305 mm.
The flexible construction allows the airflow direction to be changed without rebuilding the rest of the installation. The model is therefore suitable for repeated or changing blow-off tasks where accurate positioning is important.
