Charging Bar: Precision Perforation Detection in Dynamic Material Webs
A charging bar for the detection of perforations within a dynamic material web, each emitter of this unique electrode comes with a dedicated resistance. As a perforation traverses past the electrode, a regulated spark-over is initiated. This occurrence is captured by the linked CM5 high voltage generator, which then relays the information via an output signal and the activation of a red LED flash. This mechanism is a critical aspect of the Charging Bar’s functionality.
