Melt pressure transducer with mV/V output
Gneuss MC DA measures pressure in the polymer melt and provides an mV/V signal to a suitable measurement amplifier or controller input. It is a practical choice where the machine already has signal conditioning for this type of sensor.
How the product fits into the measurement system
Pressure is transferred through a liquid-filled measuring system to the sensing element. Diaphragm and coating options are matched to the medium, and the series includes mercury-free NTX designs. Consider DAI when an integrated amplifier is required.

- Pressure output by variant: 2 / 2.5 / 3.3 mV/V
- Sensor supply: 5–10 V
- Available pressure ranges: 0–50 … 0–2,000 bar
- Diaphragm temperature: NTX fill: up to 300 °C at the diaphragm. Other fill media and high-temperature designs are selected for the application and order specification.
- Measurement accuracy by variant: 0.25 / 0.50 % FSO
Values depend on the selected version. Check functions, signals and temperature limits against the specific ordering specification; not all options can necessarily be combined.
FSO refers to full-scale output, not the current reading.
Selecting the right version
When selecting a variant, we check the measuring range, fill medium, diaphragm material, thread, shaft length, any flexible capillary and electrical connection. Please include the model code of your existing sensor if available.
