Stretch Film Line – High Output & Flexibility
SML SmartCast is an advanced and modular cast film extrusion line that combines high production efficiency with outstanding flexibility. With four pre-configured extruder groups and an output capacity between 1,900 and 3,000 kg per hour, SmartCast meets even the most demanding stretch film production requirements.
Producers can choose between 5, 7, or more layers, providing full freedom to adjust film structure, strength, and properties to suit each application. A key highlight of the system is the innovative chill roll unit with positioning system, which ensures the film’s position is 100% reproducible, allowing all process parameters to be repeated with perfect accuracy – every single time.
Thanks to SML’s proven extrusion technology, SmartCast delivers stable operation, low energy consumption, and consistently high film quality, even at high speeds and under continuous production.
