The BKG NorCon K-SWE is a cornerstone in Nordson’s filtration technology lineup, serving as the foundation for future innovations. Its dependable design has set the standard for melt filtration systems.
This model features a proven double-piston design with two screen cavities. During screen changes, only one piston is removed from the housing, allowing the second filter cavity to remain in operation. This ensures consistent pressure and uninterrupted production.
The K-SWE is particularly suited for processing materials with normal to low contamination levels, especially when upstream components provide high inlet pressure, making it a reliable solution for a wide range of applications.
Automated Venting
To further enhance performance, the BKG NorCon K-SWE can be equipped with an automated melt pressure-controlled venting start feature. This ensures a reliable and repeatable venting process, independent of material type, throughput, temperature, system pressure, or viscosity, delivering consistent and high-quality results.
