Reliable Extrusion Melt Pumps for Versatile Applications
Nordson’s BKG EP extrusion melt pumps provide a dependable solution for extrusion, compounding, and recycling processes. Designed for versatility, these pumps optimize your production line for maximum efficiency and throughput.
Overview
The BKG EP extrusion pumps offer a robust and adaptable solution for a wide variety of applications. These pumps improve production efficiency by maintaining stable throughput and optimizing material quality.
Featuring rheologically optimized inlet and outlet geometries, the BKG EP melt pumps ensure smooth and controlled material transport. Temperature and pressure sensor ports are integrated directly into the pump housing for enhanced process monitoring.
One Concept – Different Models
The BKG EP-SE is the standard model, engineered for processing typical polymers and low-viscosity plastics such as polyolefins. It comes equipped with reliable electrical heating for consistent performance.
For shear-sensitive plastics like PMMA or PET, the BKG EP-SE-EO model features smaller, rheologically optimized inlet and outlet geometries. This design minimizes polymer degradation by ensuring a short residence time during processing.
