Customised Leaf Type air shaft for sensitive roll cores
C3AT, C5AT, C6AT and C8AT are Leaf Type air shafts designed for thin, sensitive or coreless rolls. The long expanding aluminium leaves provide contact across a larger area of the core’s inner surface, distributing pressure more evenly. This reduces the risk of concentrated pressure, deformation and material damage. The air shafts can be customised with three, five, six or eight leaves and an aluminium or steel shaft body.
