Vortec Dual Nozzle Cold Air Gun
The Vortec 612-1-BSP is a compressed-air-powered Dual Nozzle Cold Air Gun with two flexible cooling outlets. It is designed for processes where two points must be cooled at the same time or cold air must approach from two directions.
The model provides 264 W of cooling capacity and can achieve an outlet temperature as low as −23 °C. Total outlet airflow is adjustable from 57 to 425 SLPM.
Application and function of the Vortec 612-1-BSP
Compressed air passes through a vortex tube that separates the air stream into hot and cold fractions. The cold air is distributed through two flexible nozzles that can be positioned independently around the tool or workpiece.
The two cooling outlets make the model suitable for both sides of a saw blade, multiple contact points around a drill or two process zones that require simultaneous cooling. Temperature and airflow can be adjusted to suit the application.
The 612-1-BSP is supplied as a gun-only unit without a filter or magnetic base. It is intended for installations where suitable filtration and mounting are already available. Vortec recommends filter 703S-24A.
