Vortec Stainless Steel Air Flow Amplifier 902XSS-BSP
The Vortec Air Flow Amplifier 902XSS-BSP is a compact stainless steel air amplifier designed for blow-off, cooling, drying, ventilation and the conveying of lightweight materials. Its robust stainless steel construction makes it suitable for demanding industrial environments where durability and material resistance are important.
The air amplifier uses a controlled amount of filtered compressed air to entrain a much larger volume of surrounding air. This produces a powerful and uniform airflow without electric blowers, motors or moving parts at the point of use.
Application and function
The 902XSS-BSP has a 20 mm inside diameter and provides an amplification ratio of 12× in ducted applications. At a compressed-air pressure of 6.9 bar, air consumption is 482 SLPM and ducted airflow output is 5,773 SLPM.
Its conical outlet airflow allows the unit to be used for both blow-off and extraction. Typical tasks include removing metal chips and process debris, ventilating smoke and fumes, and conveying small components, pellets, powders and dust.
The stainless steel construction makes this model relevant for applications where a more robust and resistant material is preferred over aluminium. The BSP version can be integrated into both ducted and open-air installations.
