Lightweight aluminium air shaft for large-diameter bottom knives
This Bottom Knives air shaft is designed for bottom knives with larger internal diameters ranging from 100 to 200 mm. Its aluminium construction reduces both the shaft’s weight and production costs compared with an equivalent steel solution. Three precision-machined nylon strips provide a smooth, stable surface, allowing the bottom knives to slide easily into the required position. Once positioned, three rubber clamping strips expand to hold the knives securely during production.
