Agglomerate Catcher
The BKG agglomerate catcher prevents pellet clusters from reaching the dryer’s rotor area. Inclined metal bars capture the agglomerates, which are automatically detected by a photo-electric sensor. When an agglomerate is identified, the system opens the gate, ejecting oversized material before it enters the dryer.
Pellet Diverter Valve
The BKG pellet diverter valve, mounted at the dryer outlet, provides precise control over pellet discharge. It offers three key functionalities: switching between discharge chutes for container changeovers, diverting low-quality pellets during start-up, and sampling pellets during production.
