Large – Vortec Cooling Vest with Vortex Cooling Tube
Vortec COOLINGVEST-L-BSP is a complete Vortec cooling vest featuring a perforated vest in size Large and an integrated 709 SLPM Cooling Tube. The model fits a body circumference of 91–104 cm and delivers a cooling capacity of 1,500 BTU/hr, equivalent to 440 W. Air consumption is 25 SCFM, equivalent to 709 SLPM.
The Large model is suitable for workers in hot industrial environments, where continuous personal cooling can help reduce heat stress and fatigue while improving comfort and concentration.
The integrated solution combines the vest and cooling tube in one package. This makes the model suitable for longer work tasks where stable cooling around the upper body and unrestricted movement are important.
Application and function of Vortec COOLINGVEST-L-BSP
Vortec COOLINGVEST-L-BSP uses filtered compressed air that passes through the cooling tube. Vortec’s vortex technology generates a cold airflow, which is directed into the perforated inner lining of the vest and distributed around the upper body.
The cooling tube can achieve a temperature drop of up to approximately 33°C compared with the incoming compressed air. The temperature can be adjusted using the integrated control knob – even while wearing work gloves.
The solution only requires a suitable compressed air supply and therefore does not require electricity, batteries or refrigerants at the point of use.
