Overview
The BKG NorCon K-SWE-4K is built on a robust double-piston design, featuring four screen cavities—two per piston. During screen changes, one piston is completely removed from the housing, while the other remains active, maintaining process continuity and stable operation.
This model is ideal for processing materials with normal to low contamination levels, especially when upstream components provide medium inlet pressure. Its design ensures smooth, efficient filtration for demanding production environments.
Automated Venting
To enhance performance, the automated melt filter can be equipped with an automated melt pressure-controlled venting start feature. This ensures a repeatable and reliable venting process, independent of material type, throughput, temperature, system pressure, or viscosity, delivering consistent, high-quality end products.
