Enhancing the IQ Easy platform for ATEX environments
Anti Static bar: To enhance the IQ Easy platform, one can add a special sensor. This sensor can measure electrostatic charges on a given material in ATEX Zones. This anti static bar can accommodate up to 8 sensors along the length of the foil. These sensors can be placed at key locations above the material to be measured to monitor the electrostatic charges. All information from each of these sensor components is sent to the Manager IQ Easy and stored. This helps track the process. If there are excessive electrostatic charges in the ATEX zone, the system will provide warnings and alarms to alert the operators.
