RoboCELL Features
Robot-Controlled Tape Application
RoboTAPE is a groundbreaking, patented solution for fully automated tape application on sleeves, eliminating waste thanks to spiral tape technology. Manual taping is removed, along with errors that can cause downtime in the printing process.
Robot-Controlled Sleeve Handling
RoboSLEEVE is a robotic system for sleeve handling. It retrieves the first taped sleeve from the Tech Cart and mounts it onto the mandrel of the mounting machine within seconds. Once plate mounting is complete, RoboSLEEVE removes the mounted sleeve and places it back into the Tech Cart.
Fully Automated Plate Mounting
FAMM automatically positions plates with 2-micron precision. Plates are mounted in just 29 seconds, including a quality report.
Tech Cart
The Tech Cart holds all the sleeves required for the job. After taping and mounting the sleeves, the robot returns the mounted sleeve to the cart.
HMI Console
The HMI console is used for job setup and starting the taping process. XML files can be uploaded to the system for quick job initialization.
Gripper Tool Station
The robot switches its gripper tool to handle sleeves and bridges with different inner diameters.
Safety Fence
RoboCELL is enclosed by a safety fence that protects operators while they perform other tasks.
RoboCELL Options
Extra Taping Tool
Additional taping tools can be added to the cell in a dedicated tool station area, where the robot can automatically switch its tool and load one with a different tape density.
Extra Tech Carts
Multiple Tech Carts can be added to RoboCELL for taping and mounting sleeves for multiple jobs. Each Tech Cart is customized for different inner diameters and sleeve repeats.
