HDR charging bar for high speed and demanding uptime
The Simco-ION HDR applies controlled positive or negative static charge up to 60 kV DC. It handles the same fundamental tasks as HDC but is designed for high-velocity applications and demanding uptime requirements.
A separate resistor at every emitter point significantly reduces sparkover risk and limits the effect around an individual point. HDR is therefore relevant in hard-to-access locations or where downtime is particularly costly.

Working distance and data
Below 30 kV, the stated minimum distance is 20 mm; at 30-60 kV it is 75 mm. Material, speed, grounded reference and required adhesion must be considered.

Sizing and maintenance
Match the active length to the charging area. HDR supports several cable arrangements and a High Density version. Select the build according to width, space and desired charge distribution.
The robust design does not remove the need for cleaning. Plan access for inspection of pins, cable and material distance.
HDR or HDC?
Choose HDR for higher speed, difficult access or demanding robustness. HDC is normally the more economical standard solution in conventional, accessible installations.
