A charging electrode concentrates static charge on a small point, edge or defined area. It connects to a charging generator that supplies and controls high voltage.
For a full material width, a charging bar normally gives more even coverage. Choose an electrode when precision and compact mounting matter more than wide coverage.
Linear 6 Point has six pins in a line and produces an elongated field. Pinner 5 Point has five pins in a compact round head. Pinner Claw has three pins in a directional claw shape.
All three products operate at 0-30 kV DC, use current-limited replaceable emitter pins and have a stated minimum working distance of 12.5 mm. The PTFE body is specified up to 150 °C.
Final position depends on material, movement, grounded reference and desired field. Electrode and generator must be selected together.
