What is an Ionizing Air Blower?
An ion blower – also known as an ionizing air blower – is a device used to eliminate static electricity from plastic films and three-dimensional products by directing ionized air onto charged surfaces. The ionized airflow neutralises static charges, which helps prevent dust attraction and unwanted electrostatic discharges. Ion blowers are commonly used in production environments where plastic films, paper webs or other materials are being wound, handled, or processed.
Advanced Ionizing Air Blower for Precision Neutralisation
The VolumION stands out as a durable ionized air blower also known as an ion blower, boasting an ionising reach of 500 mm. It incorporates a motor, dual fans, and an ionisation module. Air from the environment is captured from both sides and directed over three anti-static bars. The intake air flow is modifiable on each side, enhancing its adaptability. This ion air blower is exceptionally suited for extended range neutralisation tasks, particularly during the winding of paper and film webs. Additionally, the air intakes are designed to accommodate specialized filters, if needed.
