Cold air gun for efficient spot cooling
A Standard cold air gun are equipped with the latest technology that uses vortex tubes and filtered compressed air to produce ice-cold air, which can reach temperatures as low as -30°F (-34°C). They are widely used in the industry for cooling applications and do not require electricity, making them an energy-efficient solution. These guns have no moving parts, which means they have a longer lifespan than other cooling methods. The air consumption varies from 15 SCFM to 35 SCFM. A cold air gun is particularly effective for cooling metal parts during machining and for repairing metals, plastics, wood, ceramics, and other materials. They also have adjustable temperature and flow settings, and some models are equipped with a frost-free nozzle to prevent condensation and frost.
Benefits:
- Increases dry machining speed by up to 36%.
- Extends tool life by 50%.
- Eliminates the need for mist coolants and avoids safety issues.
- Prevents overheating and burns.
- Saves time on cleaning secondary parts after processing.
- Reduces the strain on grinding wheels by removing sawdust and dirt from the surface.
Product Features:
- Produces cold air up to 100°F (56°C) cooler than the incoming compressed air temperature.
- Operates quietly and complies with OSHA’s noise standards.
- Option for adjustable temperature and flow rate.
- Reliable without moving parts.
- Delivers low-pressure output air.
- Requires only compressed air – no use of Freon.
- The system includes a magnetic base and a 5-micron auto-drain compressed air filter.
- Has an ergonomic trigger mechanism for precise control.
- A frost-free nozzle prevents condensation and mess.
