Vortec Standard Hot Air Gun 609-1-BSP
Vortec 609-1-BSP is an adjustable, compressed air-powered Hot Air Gun designed for gentle and targeted heating in industrial processes. The model is supplied as gun only and is suitable for customers who already have an appropriate compressed air filter and mounting solution.
Vortec 609-1-BSP uses filtered compressed air to generate an adjustable stream of hot air at temperatures up to 93°C. It provides a heating capacity of 225 kcal/hr and consumes 425 SLPM at 7 bar.
Application and function
Filtered compressed air enters the gun through its 1/4″ BSPP inlet connection. The air temperature can be adjusted using the integrated control valve, while the flexible nozzle makes it possible to direct the airflow precisely towards the component or process area.
The outlet airflow ranges from 57 to 227 SLPM, and the recommended operating pressure is 5.5–7 bar. The compressed air must be filtered to 5 microns or finer to protect the internal air passages from dirt and blockages.
The Vortec Hot Air Gun requires no electricity at the point of use and contains no moving parts. This provides immediate heating, minimal maintenance requirements and high operational reliability.
