CM5-60 charging generator for applications up to 60 kV

CM5-60 from Simco-ION is the more powerful model in the CM5 range and supplies up to 60 kV DC. It is intended for industrial charging processes where CM5-30 does not provide enough voltage and precise control and machine integration are also required.

Advanced control.

The generator supports voltage and current control. Advanced Current Control monitors electrode current and lowers it when no material is present. Advanced Output Control can make the output follow an external signal so that the charging level can, for example, track machine speed.

Operation and integration.

CM5-60 has four high-voltage connections, a four-line LCD display, lockable keyboard, analogue remote control and optional serial-bus integration. It accepts 100–240 V AC and is backwards compatible with ECM30/60 and ECM DI30/60 through quick setup.

CM5-60 is not automatically a better choice than CM5-30. Higher voltage should only be selected when required by the material, distance, width and process. The correct HDC or HDR electrode and safety clearance must be defined together with the generator.
